Garden Open Days

Saturday 14th June 2025 11am - 5pm

From time to time we have garden open days and have in the past opened the garden to raise funds for both The Horsell Garden Safari and the National Open Garden Scheme.

This year we are opening again on Saturday 14th June 2025 11 - 5pm, alongside 30 diverse gardens, for the Horsell Garden Safari raising funds for Woking and Sam Beare Hospices, Horsell Care and Horsell Village Hall. The Horsell Garden Safari takes place over two days on Saturday 14th June 11-5pm and Sunday 15th June 12-5pm.

The Safari is always a great success with visitors strolling around our woodland garden containing a range of planting from moist and dry shade alongside gravel areas of dry sun. We grow a range of unusual and rare plants. Having gardened organically here for nearly 25 years and with many of the plants we grow chosen for being pollinator and wildlife friendly, we are frequently visited by stag beetles, wood mice, bats and tawny owls.

These open days are always popular with locals and plant enthusiasts alike and it gives us a chance to showcase some of the rare and unusual plants we grow in the Painted Fern Garden. If you are interested in finding out more about what is involved in having either your garden or planting designed then pop along for a chat with garden designer Pamela Barden.

Tickets and maps cost £10 per person. Children under 16 and carers are free. Tickets can be purchased from the following Horsell High Street shops: Seymours Estate Agents and Apple & Pears. Programmes can also be purchased from participating gardens on the day.

We also offer private garden openings for gardening clubs and societies. Please contact us for further details.
